How to make tomato paste without salt or preservatives



How to make TOMATO PASTE WITHOUT SALT OR PRESERVATIVES.

Buy your basket of tomato's 🍅, measured quantities of pepper and shombo.

1. Blend your tomatoes with pepper and onions
2. Boil until the paste becomes very thick.
3. Meanwhile sterilize your bottles:
I.  Pour freshly boiled water into the bottles only, without the lids(bottle covers) and leave for about 10-15 mins
II. Boil the lids separately for about 3-5 minutes
III. Then pour your tomato paste into the sterilized bottles and cover it lightly, please make sure you don't cover it tightly, just a little.
4. Put another pot on fire and place a piece of cloth at the base of the pot then pour in some water, just a little water that will be enough to lift the piece of cloth.
5. Arrange your bottles filled with the paste gently in the pot.
6. Cover and allow to boil for 20mins
7. Now remove them one after the other and close them tightly, if any of the lids feel lose, u can support it with nylon.
8. Next turn the bottles upsidedown on the floor and cover with a blanket (in a cool dry place).
9. Leave for 2days so it can cool completely.
10. Place on the shelf. Even after 2yrs it would still taste very fresh and perfectly okay.
