Pitching is a line of talk that attempts to persuade someone or something to buy into your product/service. As we approach the Pitch Interview Stage of Startup Nigeria 2019, here are a few tips on pitching:
Be clear – the pitch must be clear and simple to understand. It should be short and concise, as attention span can be short.
Be exciting– it should be fun and captivating so it’s easier for listeners to pay attention.
Be informative –give the judges all the necessary information to get them excited and curious. Make sure to include your numbers, the problem and how you’re solving it.
Be memorable – the judges must be able to recall who you are and what you do. One way to do this is by storytelling.
